Prior to launching Cut On Your Bias, Louis spent a decade as a designer for Calvin Klein, John Varvatos and Tommy Hilfiger. Before that, he worked in Brand Strategy at Leo Burnett Advertising. He received a BA from Harvard College and a degree in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design. He has also moonlighted as a freelance fashion and music journalist for Time Out, Metro and Front Desk. Originally from Las Vegas, he is proud to call NYC home.

Flavio Masson is a start-up architect, social entrepreneur and president at 10012, a NYC-based brand innovation firm he founded in 2003. Always looking for wonder in the intersection of science, art and technology, Flavio makes music and dabbles in photography and video in his spare time. He is a graduate of Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing in São Paulo, Brazil.
Monika Chapa has spent over 22 years in the fashion industry. While at Li and Fung USA in brand partnerships with Betsey Johnson, Elie Tahari, Tommy Hilfiger and Isaac Mizrahi, she gained experience in product development, sourcing and merchandising. She is the president of Trinity Global Consulting, focusing on fashion marketing and manufacturing projects.
Prior to joining Cut On Your Bias, Edward worked in Creative Services and Merchandising Teams for Design Within Reach. He began his career at Gap Inc, had a 5-year stint in Visual Merchandising at Abercrombie & Fitch before returning to the Bay Area to work on a new customer-experience project for the Gap. He attended College at Colorado State University.
Alex has been in online marketing for more than 10 years with positions at Google, Backcountry.com and a digital ad agency before launching his own consultancy, Rewire Marketing. He graduated from Harvard with a BA and MA in linguistics. A ski bum at heart, Alex generally considers clean jeans and a collared shirt to be high fashion, although he does enjoy donning a well-tailored suit on occasion.
Marcella began her professional career in higher education working at Boston University and the MIT Sloan School of Management. She holds a BA in history and Italian literature, as well as an MA in multinational commerce from Boston University. In 2010, Marcella decided to follow her dream of working in the fashion industry and is currently studying fashion marketing at Parsons.
Megan received a MFA in art history from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She then worked at the trendy Sui Generis boutique learning all aspects of the retail trade on the frontlines of sales and merchandising. After moving to New York, she interned at the design studio of Rachel Comey in the production department.
Mike’s career includes 10 years with Arthur Andersen auditing companies in North America, Europe and Africa. He also spent 12 years as the CFO of tech companies and 22 years as a consultant to more than 100 early-stage companies. In addition, he has been on the boards of directors or advisors of 30 companies. Mike graduated from Dartmouth (BA in economics) and Northwestern University (MBA).
